From Ovingdean to Rottingdean I saw 8 birds: 2 pairs on the cliffs; 1 singleton on the cliffs; and 3 birds in flight
From Rottingdean to Saltdean I saw 8 birds: 1 pair on cliffs, 1 singleton on cliffs and 5 birds in flight
Total birds seen: 16
This may have been an under count as it was a very bright sunny day and mostly white birds on white cliffs are very difficult to see on sunny days.
Little evidence of incubation; birds on cliffs may have been incubating eggs.
