16.15-17.12

Weather: Temp: 8 C; wind 8 mph N. Some sun, but much cloud cover

I walked from Saltdean (café) to Ovingdean (café) and saw many Fulmars in nesting hole/crevasses in the cliffs; more than I had seen before, around 40 Fulmars (mostly in pairs) Some pairs were undertaking pair-bonding beahviour. There were fewer birds flying to and from the cliffs than I gad seen before; the vast majority seemed settled in holes/crevasses or perched on chalk ledges.

The photos below are not all of different birds

Total Fulmars seen: ca 40
